KGHM ZANAM Expands Business Relations in Foreign Markets
KGHM ZANAM consistently takes steps to support the expansion of its operations in international markets. In recent weeks, the Company’s representatives attended both one of the most important mining industry events in Northern Europe and business meetings in the Balkan market.
One of the latest industry events attended by KGHM ZANAM was the Euro Mine Expo trade fair in Skellefteå, Sweden. The event gathered nearly 300 exhibitors and mining sector representatives from around the world. The trade fair provided an opportunity for discussions with mine representatives, technology manufacturers, and potential business partners operating in the Scandinavian market. The meetings confirmed that the electrification of machinery and haulage processes remains one of the key development directions for European mining. There is also rapidly growing interest in solutions that support emission reductions and enhance the efficiency of underground operations.
At the same time, the Company is developing its cooperation in the Balkan market. Following the establishment of business relations with the Serbian company WBM, KGHM ZANAM representatives attended meetings dedicated to further collaboration opportunities and presenting the product portfolio to customers in the Balkan region. The discussions covered both current solutions and projects related to the development of battery-powered vehicles and modern technologies for underground mining.
The visits to Sweden and Serbia provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss industry development trends, and establish and strengthen relationships with mining sector representatives. Such meetings allow us to better understand the specifics of individual markets and to keep track of the evolving needs and expectations of our customers.
