KGHM ZANAM S.A. Miners’ Day Celebration

This year’s KGHM ZANAM Miners’ Day Celebration, which, according to tradition, is the first in the Copper Basin, was filled with great excitement and fun. The theme of the event – the Zanam Grand Prix – added a sporting character to the whole celebration. It was loud, colourful and filled with positive energy.

After the official opening, during which all guests were welcomed, an artistic performance took place, introducing the participants to the festive atmosphere of the event. The programme included a unique sand drawing show, during which a short visual story about the history of KGHM ZANAM was created before the participants’ eyes. In a few dynamic shots, it captured what has been building our identity for almost six decades: development, experience and the courage to create increasingly advanced machines for mining.

The visit of the PWR Racing Team also attracted considerable interest. Students from the Wrocław University of Technology presented two racing cars, including the latest one, which competes in international competitions. It was a great opportunity to see real racing cars up close and talk to a team of young designers from the university.

Among the attractions, our company’s contribution – the ROBUST transport vehicle – could not be missing. Both guests and representatives of the PWR Racing Team viewed the machine with interest, admiring its solid construction and modern solutions.

After the artistic part of the event, the participants moved to a less formal area, using this time for conversations, integration and joint celebrations in a friendly, festive atmosphere.

We would like to thank all employees and invited guests for their presence and for having fun together. Thanks to you, this year’s Zanam Grand Prix was an event full of good energy and integration.
