KGHM ZANAM S.A. Hosted Students from the Jan Wyżykowski University

Can the lecture hall meet real-world industry?

Absolutely!

On Saturday, we hosted students from Jan Wyżykowski University, who visited our Company as part of classes bridging academic knowledge with industrial practice. The meeting was opened by the Vice President of the Management Board for Technical Affairs, Mariusz Zybaczyński, who welcomed the participants and emphasised the importance of cooperation between business and academia.

This was an excellent opportunity to discuss modern industry, the technologies used in mining, and the daily challenges faced by machinery manufacturers for the mining sector.

Part of the visit also took place on the production floor, where participants could see up close how KGHM ZANAM’s Self-Propelled Mining Machines are manufactured and observe the process of preparing them for operation in demanding underground conditions.

Thank you for your visit, active engagement, and numerous insightful questions. Such meetings perfectly demonstrate how theory meets practice.
